Triprolidine has anticholinergic and sedative effects. Triprolidine binds to the histamine H1 receptor. This blocks the action of endogenous histamine, which subsequently leads to temporary relief of the negative symptoms brought on by histamine. Rapidly absorbed in the intestinal tract.
